Multi Level Sensors
Customizable sensors offer ease of installation while providing differential control, high and low alarm contacts, or both. Available with thermostats, and other options.
Single Level Switches
Provide basic on-off functions in metallic or plastic versions with various switching modes.
Side Mount Level Switches
A family of modular sensors that will fit through 1/2˝ NPT-F fittings, operate in low-density fluids, and are available with thermostats. They are the strongest miniature sidemounts available.
Drum Sensors
An economical series of long life tank level indicators for static storage tanks holding fuel oil, kerosene, diesel fuel, water, etc. Systems indicate FULL, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 and Low on an LED display.
AST Sensors
National offers a complete line of AST sensors designed to provide high level alarm contacts for above ground storage tanks. All units are fabricated in stainless steel and have a self-checking feature.
Non-Electric Indicators
Primarily used for “tote” tanks and other installations where electrical indicators are impractical or undesirable, they are available in both metallic or non-metallic versions, and with rigid “sticks” or flexible “tapes”.
Bottle Sensors
Used where entry into a tank is impossible or not practical. Excessive heat or turbulence, or physical interference being some of the reasons why these “bottle switches” are popular.
Bilge / Sump Switches
Have a practical polycarbonate shield to keep out debris in bilges of ships, sumps or containment areas.
Heating Oil Products
NMS manufactures a line of products specifically for residential and light commercial heating oil applications.
Continuous Transmitters
Available in standard or heavy duty sizes, these rugged transmitters will drive digital meters or 4-20ma signal conditioners with 1/4˝ resolution end to end. Illustrated are 2˝ and 8˝ diameter floats.
Flow Switches
A flow switch is a device that can sense actual fluid flow, rather than pressure, in a piping system. Using a flow resisting disc and spring, they can be set up to detect increasing flow, or decreasing flow.
